PACK EXPO CHICAGO 2010
PackExpo 2010 was held at the McCormick Place in Chicago. Triangle Package
Machinery showed off their new generation of
vertical form, fill, seal machines called the XY. Here
Mike and Tom are standing in front of the new XY Constant Motion bagger
built for wash down locations. This machine also featured
the use of ultra sonic sealing jaws.
Mettler-Toledo combined resources from it's Hi-Speed and
Safeline divisions to exhibit a combination metal detector and checkweigher built into the same frame.
This machine can operate in harsh environments and is built to
USDA specifications for operating with raw products on the
belts.
The Mettler-Toledo booth also featured the Hi-Speed "Starweigh"
checkweigher which uses a starwheel to index containers over a
load cell for high accuracies. This machine also indexes
the containers off existing conveyor lines saving installation
costs.
METTLER-TOLEDO DEMO BUS
In July, the Mettler-Toledo Demo Bus visited our area carrying
a full line of Safeline Xray and Metal Detector equipment and
Hi-Speed Checkweighers. Mike and Tom are shown with the
bus as it was parked at the plant of one of our customers.
PACK EXPO LAS VEGAS 2009
The Schneider Machinery booth featured a case packer that
Tom sold to ConAgra for packaging cartons of "Swiss Miss" cocoa mix.
Here Tom is standing with Terry Zarnowski, sales manager of Schneider.
